Built by people who need it.
For people who need it.

SeniorHealthCompanion was born from personal experience. Jon and Sheila are retired and have spent years managing multiple long-term health conditions — the medications, the specialist appointments, the records that every new doctor always needs and nobody ever has handy.

They looked for an app that could help. Everything they found was either too complicated, too expensive, or required handing their most private health information to a company's server. Nothing felt built for people like them.

So Jon built one. No venture capital. No data deals. Just two people who live this every day, building the tool they wished existed.

When friends and family saw it, the reaction was the same every time — "I need that." So they decided to share it.

⚠ Don't Forget This One
🔐

Your Data Moves With You

Your health records stay only on your phone — never on a server, never in the cloud. That's the privacy promise. But it also means you're the backup. If you get a new phone, export your data, install the app, and import — your complete history transfers in minutes.

To make sure nobody forgets, the app reminds you to export a backup every 90 days. Just a friendly nudge, so your information is never one lost or upgraded phone away from disappearing.

🏥

Health Records

Diagnostic imaging, lab results, hospital stays, surgical history, hardware implants, and more — organized and always at hand.

Companion Apps — General
Applies to all our apps
All your health data is stored locally on your device — not on any server or cloud. We never see your data, never collect it, and never sell it. It stays on your phone.
No. We have no user accounts, no logins, and no data collection. The only time data leaves your device is when you choose to sync with a spouse or caregiver — and even then it goes directly to their device through an encrypted connection.
Because we never receive, store, or transmit your health data to any server we control, HIPAA does not apply to us. Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or sync it yourself.
No. Every Companion App is free to download. There's no subscription and no hidden fees. A small banner ad helps keep the app free — it never has access to your health data, which stays private on your device at all times.
Yes — everything works completely offline. You only need an internet connection if you want to sync data with a spouse or caregiver. All other features work without wifi or cellular service.
No — Companion Apps are personal health record organizers, not medical devices or diagnostic tools. Always consult your physician for medical decisions. Our apps help you keep your information organized so you can communicate more effectively with your healthcare team.

App-specific questions
Medications, supplements, vitals (blood pressure, weight, glucose, oxygen), vaccinations, allergies, conditions, procedures, hardware implants, lab results, diagnostic imaging, emergency contacts, insurance information, advance directives including DNR status, and personal notes.
Yes — the app includes a PDF export feature that produces a clean, professionally formatted document with all your health information. You can email it to your doctor, print it before an appointment, or share it with family members.
Yes — the app supports multiple profiles and includes a sync feature that lets you share your health data with a spouse or caregiver on their own device. You control what is shared and when.
Yes — the app includes optional PIN and Face ID security to protect your health records. Importantly, the Emergency Card remains accessible even when the app is locked, so first responders can always access your critical information.
The app is fully translated into 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Yes — the backup and restore feature lets you export all your data as a single file and import it on a new device. Your data transfers completely, including all profiles and health records.
Yes — the app includes a text size setting (small, medium, large) in Settings. The default is medium. You can change it at any time to suit your preference.
The Emergency screen shows your most critical health information in one place — blood type, emergency contacts, primary physician, current medications, allergies, DNR status, and hardware implants. ER staff can see everything they need immediately without searching through the app.
Hardware implants like pacemakers, stents, and joint replacements affect what medical procedures are safe — especially MRI scans. Most people forget to mention these in an emergency. Having them in the app means ER staff can check immediately.
Not at this time. Connecting to medical portals would make the app subject to HIPAA regulations, significantly changing its nature. You can manually enter test results, and notes can be typed or pasted from any source. We are exploring safe ways to add this in a future version.
Every printer handles margins slightly differently. If text is cut off on the right side, go to your print settings and reduce the scale to 90%, or select "Fit to page." This works on all printers and devices.
